I’m sick.
Again!
This time I have Covid.
It still sucks.
On the bright side, I’ve already finished three books I was reading:
All of them were really good!
I read Frankenstein via Project Gutenberg. It was quite
fun to read, albeit a bit sad. It also had interesting political
messages, kind of anti-capitalist.
How To Change Everything I got for 2€ at a local bookstore, even though it was still new. It describes the climate justice movement in early 2020. It was a bit sad to see so many hopes that were still alive back then but died in the meantime. But it was also motivating to get and stay active. It gave me a bit of hope for climate justice back, I think.
Joyful Militancy I found in Kanthaus. It describes how rigid radicalism comes from the current Empire we live in and even infiltrates our radical / activist groups trying to dismantle it. It also asks questions, how we can instead employ a joyful kind of militancy to strive for a better world. It raised a lot of new thoughts in my mind.
Now I’m reading Die Bücherdiebin by Markus Zusak, which also seems to be amazing. I also got it from Kanthaus. I really like the way it is written.
