Fascism

Also just wanted to use this opportunity to appreciate how fucking scary the current times are here in Germany (and basically everywhere else in the world). The AfD, certifiably fascists, became the strongest party in some German country elections. They can now officially and legally block decisions that require a 2/3 majority (like for constitution lawyers and changes to the countrys constitution).

There’s a quote from Mal Élevé saying

Jetzt sitzen sie im Bundestag, wie viel muss noch geschehen?

Now they’re sitting in the Bundestag¹, how much more has to happen?

Apparently a lot more. Probably people will only realize that fascists are coming to power when they’re actually at power. Which really sucks.
